Role Description
This is a part-time remote (with in-office option) for a Triage LPN or Triage RN. This position features four day work weeks, Monday - Thursday, paid federal holidays, and accrued sick and PTO time beginning after 3 months of employment. The role is responsible for initially assessing and prioritizing the needs of patients contacting a gynecology practice by phone, gathering relevant medical history into an EMR system, and determining the appropriate course of action based on symptoms, whether it be scheduling an appointment with the provider, providing basic advice, or directing them to emergency care if necessary; requiring strong knowledge of female reproductive health issues and excellent communication skills to effectively manage patient concerns and inquiries.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology
Experience working in a Medical Office setting
Exceptional Patient Care skills
Proficiency in managing Medical Records
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is required
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is beneficial

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
