Job Responsibilities

The Licensed Nurse (LPN) is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate plan of care based on the residents’ needs, evaluating and making the necessary changes to the plan of care. Plans and provides education to other health care team members, residents, family, and caregivers on information regarding the care plan for the residents. Demonstrates the knowledge of medication administration and evaluates their responses to the medications. Plans for residents’ admission/discharge and anticipates for long term and/or short term residents’ needs.

A Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients/residents through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patients/residents, family members, responsible party and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The RN plans, assesses, supervises and evaluates care of each patient/resident while assuring resident safety at all times. The RN ensures that the status of the patient/resident condition is effectively communicated to the physician.

Qualifications Required

· Current Minnesota licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing.

· BLS certified.

· Good communication skills.

· Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Qualifications Preferred

· Clinical experience.

Full-time and Part-time LPN & RN positions available at Benedictine Saint Anne (Skilled Care).

· 1.0 FTE, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (bonus eligible + $1.50/hour shift differential + $9,000 sign on bonus)

· 0.9 FTE, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (bonus eligible + $1.50/hour shift differential + $9,000 sign on bonus)

· 0.6 FTE, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm ($1.50/hour shift differential + $4,500 sign on bonus)

· 0.2 FTE, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm ($1.50/hour shift differential)

All LPN and RN positions require an every other weekend and holiday rotation. BLC - Winona offers a competitive compensation package including great pay and benefits.
