We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing management, with a focus on acute care and home care settings. Responsibilities

Oversee the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care.
Manage daily operations, including shift management and staffing to meet patient needs.
Conduct regular reviews of medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Lead the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans for patients.
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as necessary.
Ensure effective communication between nursing staff, patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation review processes.
Experience in acute care settings, with a solid understanding of home care practices.
Proficiency in managing MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments within nursing home environments.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Effective shift management capabilities, ensuring optimal staffing levels at all times.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing operations.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure while addressing complex patient needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $94,418.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
