Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Department

Location: Glens Falls, NY
Unit: Emergency Room Department
Rate: $66.50 per hour
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shifts: 12-hour day or night shifts

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide care for patients in the Emergency Room Department as a Registered Nurse
Perform procedural sedation, rapid-sequence intubation (RSI), IV starts on children, and ABG draws
Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management
Adhere to department expectations and protocols
Deliver patient-oriented care with reliability and minimal attendance concerns
Required Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of ED experience
Recent travel experience in an ED setting (required)
Strong proficiency in emergency care, including procedural sedation, RSI, IV starts on children, and ABG draws
Experience in Cardiac/Tele, ER, ICU, Medsurg, and Telemetry units
Telemetry experience as a Registered Nurse
Cerner experience (highly preferred)

Certification Requirements:

ACLS (AHA)
BLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)

State License Requirements:

New York (must be in hand at profile upload; no pending licenses)
