We are looking for an Organ Administrator On Call to join our Clinical Services team. Working under the direction of the Assistant Director of Clinical and Surgical Services, responsibility includes the overall management and evaluation of organ donors and the organ donation process.

Job Responsibilities

Oversees the organ donation referral response and management, organ donor management, and organ allocation processes.
Performs regulatory and safety verifications on authorized organ donors to ensure processes are followed and consistent with the highest ethical standards.
Participates in the audit process in collaboration with Quality Systems.
Provides mentorship, training, and education to the Organ Services Division.
Establishes appropriate business relationships with local Transplant Centers and other public and private entities to foster increased organ donation and transplantation.
Participate in company improvement projects (Committees, Work Groups, PDSA, etc).
Maintains current knowledge of all legal and regulatory aspects of the donation process.

Experience

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in health sciences or nursing preferred.
Other educational backgrounds considered include Licensed Registered Nurse, Respiratory Therapist (RT), Paramedic (PM), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Minimum of 3 years organ donation experience required.
Ability to obtain and maintain Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) certification.
Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and personal auto insurance and the capability to travel long distances by vehicle and plane.

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is not applicable for geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Live On Nebraska, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,000 to $110,000.
