Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and medical histories.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
Provide primary care services, including health education and counseling for patients and families.
Assist in various medical procedures, utilizing aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in an ambulatory surgery center or similar settings.
Monitor patients' progress and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
Support behavioral health initiatives by recognizing mental health needs and providing appropriate interventions.
Utilize medical imaging and sonography techniques when necessary for patient assessments.
Engage in travel nursing opportunities as required by the organization.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and medical records management.
Experience in primary care settings preferred; familiarity with ambulatory surgery centers is a plus.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and sonography is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to perform injections safely and effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating strong critical thinking skills.
Previous experience in behavioral health nursing is an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
