Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is on track to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in the state of Georgia while providing clinical, surgical and imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a full-time, self motivated Registered Nurse who loves to transform lives through exceptional patient care!

Responsibilities:

Effectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision making skills for the specific area and patient population.

Delivers patient care utilizing standardized evidenced based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.

Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior, administer medications and document all encounters and progress notes.

Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

Educates patients about health maintenance and disease prevention

Educates care plans, provides emotional support and advise to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

Good standing RN License for the state of Georgia without limitations

BLS and ALS/ACLS Certified

Familiarity with medical software and equipment

Ability to build rapport with patients

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

This opening is for our Roswell ASC, which currently operates on Wednesdays, Fridays and every other Tuesday or Thursday. Full-time hours are available through a combination of direct patient care in the ASC as well as nursing administrative days communicating with Roswell surgical patients by phone both pre- and post-op. SSJC does not operate on night or weekend shifts.
