Are you a passionate registered nurse eager to make a significant impact in the lives of residents and lead a dedicated team? The director of nursing (DON) in training may be the perfect fit for you!
As a DON in training, you will receive hands-on training and comprehensive support as you spend ample time learning from and working alongside seasoned nurse leaders at other Dove Healthcare locations in Northwest Wisconsin.
Travel expenses, including meals, hotels, and mileage, are covered during your training period at other Dove Healthcare locations.
The goal is to successfully complete program objectives over the course of 3-6 months and then fully transition to the role of director of nursing for Dove Healthcare - St. Croix Falls, a 50-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Just an hour outside of the busy Minneapolis-St. Paul area, you will enjoy this quieter, woods and water community with convenient access to all the twin cities has to offer too.

Mentored and supported by our VP of clinical operations, as the DON your responsibilities include:
- working collaboratively to lead all clinical services
- developing and implementing nursing practices to ensure high quality care
- overseeing regulatory compliance, including:
- patient care and resident rights
- nursing practices
- employee development
- budget and staffing

Required Qualifications:
- current licensure as a registered nurse (if out-of-state, ability to obtain WI licensure upon hire)
- degree from an accredited school of nursing
- previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility
