Duties
- Provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including acute care and behavioral health facilities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Perform physical examinations and assessments to monitor patients' health status.
- Assist with procedures such as catheterization and dialysis.
- Document patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes, accurately and timely in electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of AZ.
- Previous experience working in acute care and behavioral health settings preferred.
- Experience working with geriatric is a plus.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems such as Hospice MD
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and dosage calculations.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assessments accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
