Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in various settings, including hospitals, medical offices, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status through physical examinations and medical history evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Provide health coaching to patients, educating them about their conditions and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
- Manage acute pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort or pain-related issues.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care across different settings such as medical-surgical units, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques as necessary for diagnostic purposes and interpret results accurately.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay current with medical terminology and advancements in healthcare practices to provide the best possible care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized certifying body.
- Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Experience in hospital settings or medical-surgical units is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with health coaching techniques and patient education strategies is a plus.
- Knowledge of acute pain management practices is beneficial.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to family practice and primary care settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Pay: $118,425.00 - $159,508.00 per year
