Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 to 5:00
Pay range: $119,409 to $149,260

General Position Summary: Responsible for direct patient care in collaboration with supervising physicians for examining, diagnosing and treating shared patients. Duties include meeting with patients in person and over video telehealth, prescribing and monitoring medications, and running diagnostic tests to determine the source of the patient’s symptoms.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Greet patients and gather medical information
· Diagnose gastrointestinal medical conditions
· Monitor patient’s progress and make adjustments to treatment
· Prescribe and manage medications
· Refer patients as needed
· Proficient use of EMR system
· Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
· Maintain PA-C or ARNP license in State of Washington
· DEA registration
· Gastroenterology skilled
· Medication management
· Good medical judgement
· Confidence to function autonomously
· Ability to work well in an environment with firm deadlines
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude
· Must be well organized and detail oriented with good charting skills, including grammar/spelling
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff
· Empathy and compassion
Environmental/Working Conditions:
· Clinic-based practice
· No call, shift or weekend work
· Must be flexible in work hours, hours may be changed based on clinic needs
· Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
· May be required to lift at least 20 pounds.
