Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest quality of patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of nursing administration, and a commitment to excellence in hospice and home care settings. This role is pivotal in shaping nursing practices, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Manage nurse staffing levels, providing guidance and support to nursing staff while promoting professional development.
- Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with medical standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients in hospice, home care, and assisted living settings.
- Ensure that all nursing practices align with Medicare regulations and current medical terminology.
- Provide leadership in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, nursing best practices, and healthcare trends to inform decision-making.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, patients, and families to facilitate effective communication.
Experience
- A valid nursing license with significant experience in nurse management or leadership roles within healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and documentation standards relevant to patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
