Due to demand for services Allergy Associates of La Crosse is looking to welcome a qualified NP to help us in our unique and rewarding allergy practice.
Candidates should possess a solid fund of Medical knowledge, high professional standards and readiness to go the “extra mile” for the benefit of your Patient. Willingness to learn and adaptability are necessary, as well as a strong team-player mentality. Candidates with all levels of experience, including recent graduates, will be considered. NP’s with a background in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Care, Obstetrics, ICU and Neonatal Medicine will be given special consideration, all qualified Practitioners with an interest in allergy are encouraged to apply.
Duties upon hiring include the diagnosis and management of asthma, allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, atopic dermatitis, chronic urticaria, and food allergy without history of systemic reactions. A fair degree of knowledge of antibiotics prescription guidelines, and of the pharmacology of bronchodilators, oral steroids, antihistamines, and topical skin treatments is required. There are no hospital consultations or other hospital-related duties. No travelling to other locations.
We have a state-of-the -art EHR system with in-house IT support. A staff Registered Dietician Nutritionist. We also have an in-house Immunology Lab with a broad range of tests and a two-day results integrated with the EHR.
The position is available immediately. Working days are four per week. Starting salary is at the national average but negotiable. A 401(k) plan is part of the compensation, along with health care and dental care plan, PTO, life, AD&D and long term disability insurance. Incentives and bonuses are generous and will be discussed after the completion of six months of employment.
