Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. This pivotal role will oversee nursing operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while fostering a collaborative environment among our healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations and shift management.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality across the facility.
- Oversee training and development programs for nursing staff to maintain high standards of practice.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to support departmental goals.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license; BSN preferred.
- Proven experience in nursing management or leadership roles within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of care plans, acute care, hospice care, and assisted living environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- In-depth understanding of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,013.00 - $120,000.00 per year
