Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans based on the needs of patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and recovery plans
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care delivery
- Adhere to best practices and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) will be considered
- Previous nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as required
