ECU Health Physicians is multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina.
Position Summary
- Experienced RN to provide comprehensive, patient-focused, individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers.
- The Nurse Navigator will provide education and resources to facilitate informed decision making and timely access to quality healthcare and department related services.
Minimum Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Current North Carolina nursing license.
- 3-5 years clinical experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Organized, can multi-task, analytical, time management.
- Work well under stress and be able to provide emotional support.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written skills, strong organizational skills, strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must work well in teams and autonomously.
- Basic working knowledge of managed care, insurance coverage, and departmental procedures, but can be taught on the job.
Other Information
- Location/Department: ECU Health Neurology Clinic - Greenville, NC
- This position is full-time (40hrs/week) - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- No nights, weekends or call
