Key Responsibilities
Provide exemplary virtual nursing care utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
Conduct remote patient monitoring, assessments, and interventions in partnership with on-site healthcare teams.
Serve as a clinical expert for bedside teams, offering guidance, mentorship, and educational support.
Use critical thinking to identify clinical issues and recommend suitable interventions.
Coordinate multidisciplinary care, ensuring effective communication and seamless patient transitions.
Advocate for patient-centered approaches, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and favorable health outcomes.
Maintain expertise in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, and Meditech, along with other technology-based clinical tools.
Required Skills
Active RN license in good standing.
Profound understanding of telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, and critical care policies and procedures.
Proficient in computer-based documentation and navigation systems.
Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
Capability to educate patients and families within a virtual framework.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in acute or critical care settings.
Preferred 1+ years in a leadership or charge nurse capacity.
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
