Critical Care Transport (CCT) Registered Nurse Needed working 12-hour shifts doing CCT Interfacility Ambulance Transports.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Critical Care Transport Nurse performs basic life support, advance life support and critical care nursing. The CCT Transport Nurse provides direct patient care to the ill for patients that require cardiac monitoring, IV medications, and ventilators. Transports are for critically ill patients whom are being moved between two hospitals for services for higher level of care and services not available at sending hospital.
About the Position:
A typical day consists of waiting on stand-by at the station for a trauma that requires a mobile intensive unit with a rapid response that is equipped for medical emergencies.
This job requires the RN to be in command and control of the ambulance and mobile team acting quickly on the best method to ensure the stability of the patient while providing immediate medical relief for the patient in preparation for further medical aids once the care has been transferred to the receiving hospital.

Required Credentials:
To be eligible, you must possess the following credentials:
- California Registered Nurse's License
- BLS/CPR
- ACLS
- PALS
Experience Required:
Two (2) years of verifiable critical care (ER, ICU or other critical care area) within the previous 18 months.
