Northwest Pain Care is a leader in interventional pain management and minimally invasive spine procedures. We are seeking a Full Time licensed Nurse Practitioner to evaluate and manage chronic pain patients. Our multidisciplinary approach to pain management includes physical therapy, pain psychology, interventional therapies, such as injections, minimally invasive spine surgeries, implantable therapies, and conservative medication management. Duties include new patient consults & follow-ups, injections, ultrasound procedures and assisting in surgery. EMR experience is required. Compensation is tied to relevant experience, and may include productivity or quality/service incentives above salary, as applicable to the position and level of experience. 1-2 years related experience is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply. Primary responsibilities:
1) Evaluate new pain patients and formulate a care plan.
2) See follow up patients both medical and post-procedure.
3) Must have confidence and expertise in pain pharmacology.
4) Cover call with other providers, although call is minimal and rarely in person.
5) Complete all documentation in EMR in a thorough, accurate and timely fashion.
Qualifications
1) Unrestricted license in Washington, or in the process.
2) DEA license, or able to obtain soon.
We are open Monday-Thursday with 4x10 hour shifts. Office seeks an individual with good interpersonal skills, eagerness to learn, and a strong, focused work ethic. Specialized pain experience not required, but a successful applicant will show a solid clinical and pharmacological foundation. Full med/dent & 401k. 6 weeks paid vacation: (3 weeks vacation, plus 1 week education leave, plus office is also closed for one week at the holidays and one week for summer holiday, paid).
