Nurse Practitioner Essential Functions:
- Performing physical examinations of patients to evaluate health and diagnose illnesses
- Administering and performing diagnostic tests and laboratory tests
- Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
- Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
- Educating and counseling patients and families on presenting health problems, treatment plans, and home care
- Facilitating the patient’s transition within and between health care settings, e.g., admitting, transferring, and discharging patients.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
- Planning and managing patient care according to the patient’s needs
- Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPPA, OSHA, etc.
- Actively maintaining knowledge of current medical research and trends
Nurse Practitioner Education and Experience:
- Board Certified NP licensure required
- Must have a current NP license to practice in the state of New Jersey

Nurse Practitioner Required Skills/Abilities:
