Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in ensuring the well-being of our patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist in administering medications and treatments under the direction of healthcare providers
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide support with catheterization and tube feeding procedures
- Offer assistance with wound care and dressing changes
- Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to implement patient care plans effectively
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient information meticulously
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and disease management
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and healthcare policies
Requirements:
- Experience in medical documentation, caregiving, infectious disease care, home care, Epic software, pediatric care, dementia care, working with individuals with developmental disabilities, urgent care, and medical-surgical settings is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients when necessary
