Job Title: Teledermatology Nurse Practitioner (Remote)
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner licensed in New York State to join our growing teledermatology practice. The position is fully remote with flexible hours, offering an excellent opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while gaining valuable dermatology experience under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist.
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual consultations to patients with a range of dermatologic concerns.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with a supervising board-certified dermatologist for complex cases.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient encounters.
- Comply with Medicare and Medicaid billing procedures and insurance guidelines.
Requirements:
- Must hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
- Active Medicare and Medicaid credentials.
- Previous dermatology experience is preferred but not required.
- Must have own malpractice insurance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a telehealth setting.
