Overview
Job Summary:
Complete 175 hours of training to meet the requirements set forth by the State of Missouri Department of health and Senior Services, which states: Hospitals may only employ unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) in accordance with this rule. Upon successful completion of the program Trainee will move into a Patient Care Technician role.
Job Responsibilities:

Attend every scheduled session to complete 75 hours of classroom training.

Complete 100 hours of clinical practicum under the direction of the class trainer / department preceptor

Demonstrate competence in all areas of basic patient care skills.
