We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring infection control, and maintaining accurate medical records. We offer a flexible schedule for this temporary part-time position with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine oral health status and needs.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Review medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in pediatric dental care, providing a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and practices in a dental setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
