The Maternity Center at Witham Hospital features 4 labor and delivery rooms, 4 postpartum rooms, 1 triage room, 1 operating suite, and a Level 1 nursery, providing comprehensive care for mothers and newborns. Our dedicated team of all registered nurses offers exceptional support to pregnant mothers for antepartum evaluations, labor, delivery and recovery, and during the postpartum period. We maintain a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during labor and up to 3 couplets per RN in postpartum care, ensuring personalized attention and high-quality service. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, we create a nurturing environment that makes each childbirth experience individualized or personalized or maybe, special and memorable for families.

Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- BSN preferred.
- Must hold a valid license to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana and be CPR certified.
- Additional certifications are dependent on assigned care.
- RN is responsible for continuous self-professional development by attending seminars and maintaining CEU's. The RN agrees to notify their supervisor should they need additional training pertaining to any area of their assigned duties.
