Job Overview
Join our dedicated team at Compass Health Network as a Nurse RN, specializing in psychiatric care. We are responding to the critical service needs of our communities and are pleased to offer a $3,600 sign-on bonus to attract exceptional talent. This full-time position consists of 36 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from Monday night into Tuesday, and overnight shifts for the remainder of the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver both direct and indirect patient care in a psychiatric setting, upholding the standards of Professional Nursing Practice.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive coordination of care and services for clients.
- Provide education to patients and their families to support their understanding and engagement in care.
- Exhibit competency in delivering age-appropriate care to diverse populations, including preadolescents, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Act as a Preceptor and educator for new employees, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in the hospital's Continuous Quality Improvement Program and fulfill committee responsibilities as assigned.

- Physical strength and agility necessary for lifting, moving patients, and participating in physical intervention techniques.

Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
- RN or GN licensure is required, with the expectation of passing the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.
