Position Summary:
The Clinical Program manager helps fulfill Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Department's vision for excellence in patient care and operational value and efficiency. The Clinical Program Manager melds both advanced clinical care and program management skills. This role provides daily patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and prepares patients for their inpatient encounters and post discharge recovery. Additionally, the Program Manager collects quality improvement data, interprets outcomes, and collaboratively implements interventions as needed.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform daily program operations and support program fidelity. May be responsible for program development and/or expansion.
- Communicate regular program updates to the funding department and Cedars-Sinai leadership.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide guidance, resolve issues, and implement quality improvements.
- Researches and analyzes program data to evaluate program performance and operations.
- Communicate findings to program participants, stakeholders, leadership, including recommendations for quality improvement interventions.
- Assess communication and training needs of patients and staff to meet program performance goals.
- Develop and implement necessary communication and education to support program goals.
- May work with cross-functional teams across multiple departments to develop materials.
- Maintains staff and program compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintains data system integrity and ensures quality assurance measures are followed based on departmental standard operating procedures.
- May provide ad hoc reporting to support recommendations observed through trend analysis for future planning and enhancements.
Required:
- 5 years Acute Care inpatient experience REQUIRED
- Orthopaedic experience in a large, academic trauma center
- Charged Experience REQUIRED
- BSN REQUIRED
Preferred:
- 2 years Leadership experience as a CN IV and/or Assistant Nurse Manager or comparable position preferred
