Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing (DON) is a critical leadership role, responsible for overseeing the clinical team and ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in home health care, a deep understanding of OASIS documentation, and a passion for leading and mentoring clinical staff. This role offers the opportunity to drive quality patient outcomes and support the continued growth of Nova Home Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all clinical operations to ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Manage and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of OASIS documentation and assessments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and services.
- Monitor clinical performance through audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient feedback.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes impacting home health care.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in Indiana.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health care, including leadership roles.
- Extensive knowledge of home health OASIS documentation and quality care standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-state environment.
