Job Description: Ramona Rehabilitation and Post Acute Care Center, a premier 5-star rated skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team. As the DON, you will lead our nursing team to deliver exceptional care, foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, and uphold the policies that keep us at the forefront of quality in skilled nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all nursing operations, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Lead and mentor the nursing staff, promoting a culture of compassion, safety, and high-quality care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
- Implement strategies for maintaining our 5-star rating.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead staff development initiatives, provide training, and ensure continuous improvement in care practices.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility, with at least 3 years as a Director of Nursing.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting skilled nursing facilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
