Be a part of cutting edge treatments! If you are interested in hign tech procedures this is the job for you. Needs to be unique individual who is an NP but also can perform business development / physician liaison activities 1-2d per week.
Imaging & Interventional Specialists is looking for a suitable Nurse Practitioner to join their exciting practice that offers cutting edge treatments in a clinic setting. In this exciting hybrid job for which there will be incentives the NP will also be involved with outreach and educating physicians and their staff on to procedure we do.
We perform simple to complex procedures and you will be involved in performing some of them (once trained and proctored) and assisting.
- Some Saturdays 8am-3pm and weekdays
Business development
● Develops and expands referral base in order to grow designated IIS/EPVD business and service lines, including growing peripheral arterial disease treatment
● Continuously reviews, analyzes, evaluates and reports on various information and data regarding existing product performance, potential development opportunities.
● Identifies physician referral opportunities within the medical community through research and prospecting.
● Establishes and maintains ongoing communications with referring providers and/or their office staff, including routine or follow-up visits in person, emails, and phone calls.
● Utilizes networking opportunities to nurture relationships with local community organizations/ small businesses and increase advocacy of IIS/EPVD within the territory In conjuction with senior management identifies IIS/EPCD personnel who can be train and tasked with assisting in business development / physician liaison activities
NURSE PRACTITIONER
- Involved in and performs certain procedures including cutting edge (see our website)
- Provides direct care and assisists & performs procedures including cutting-edge IR procedures once trained and proctored.
- Carries out orders including cutting edge procedures that are authorized by the physician supervisor.
- Performs medical histories on patients and completes necessary paperwork on them.
- Performs medical follow up on clinic patients
- Evaluates and provides care to patients per SOP within scope of practice
- Discuss cutting edge procedures inclusing Y90's, MWAs rounds on inpatients in consulation with physician supervisor
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Serves and protects the medical practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Provides excellent patient careas per company and regulatory requirements under direct supervision of a board-certified Interventional Radiologist (supervising physician).
- Assures that the patient’s treatment is monitored and coordinated in concert with the Organization’s clinical policies, and guidelines.
- Assures that medical record documentation of care meets established clinical quality and compliance standards.
- Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; promoting wellness and health maintenance.
- Adheres to Medical Board requirements for supervision.
- Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing physician directives.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Develops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
SCHEDULE:
PAY:
· base $40 - 80 per hour with for NP and business development roles to bring to 200k+
REQUIREMENTS:
- TX STATE LICENSE ACCEPTED
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- The Provider shall be currently licensed in and a member of TX State medical board providing licensure for NPs. A temporary license will not be accepted. Provider shall meet continuing education requirements for the State(s) licensed in.
- The NP must not have been convicted of, or pled guilty to, or pled nolo contendre to, or received probation before judgment for any crime other than a minor traffic violation the record of which has not been expunged.
