Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and acute care to patients, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies, conducting physical exams, and prescribing medications.
- Conduct health coaching sessions to educate patients on healthy habits, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with internal medicine specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) such as Athenahealth to document patient information and communicate with other healthcare providers.
- Administer IV infusions and other medications as needed.
- Conduct vital signs assessments and perform gastric lavage procedures when necessary.
- Participate in case management activities to ensure that patients receive the most effective and efficient care possible.
- Provide patient education and counseling to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
- Stay current with the latest medical research and guidelines, and adapt practice to meet the changing needs of patients and the healthcare community.
Experience:
- A Master's degree in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where the position is located.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Strong knowledge of internal medicine principles and practices.
- Proven experience with IV infusion therapy and gastric lavage procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within electronic health record systems.
- Experience with case management and health coaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
