Boca Recovery Center is looking to hire a APRN FNP. Preferred dual certification FNP and PMHNP or able to provide History and Physical Assessments along with Psychiatric Evaluations for a detox and residential substance abuse program.
The ARNP provides direct patient care services within the scope of in collaboration with other members of the facility’s treatment staff under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director. Supports the policies, rules and regulations of the facility; and acts in compliance with federal, state and other regulatory bodies and agencies.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
1. EDUCATION: Graduated from an accredited ARNP recognized by
the State of Indiana; and maintains compliance to State of Indiana issued continuing education requirements.
2. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one year experience in a medical detox facility
serving in a APRN role, preferred.
3. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Licensed to practice as an ARNP within the State of Indiana. Double board certified PREFERRED but not necessary, both psychiatric and medical accreditations required. Current CPR Certification.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION
1. Provides ARNP knowledge base as a resource for the design and implementation of clinical activities as designated by patient’s individualized multidisciplinary treatment plan.
2. Performs health and physical examinations,medication management services and other direct psychiatrist/physician services for patients being evaluated for and/or admitted to the facility as assigned.
3. Assure appropriateness of initial patient admissions and continuing patient care through application accepted practices as an ARNP
4. Participate in the formulation of a community resources network to assure a continuum of care for patients upon discharge from the facility as assigned.
5. Work with facility executive and clinical staff on matters of facility development and major policy issues relating to the delivery of patient care as assigned.
6. Assure completion of all ARNP documentation, to include progress notes, orders, and assessments in a professional, legible and timely manner in keeping with ARNP practice standards.
7. Provide on-site ARNP services at facility, per terms of established agreement.
8. Complies with required hours in accordance with contract agreement.
9. Collaborates with the Director of Nursing regarding Infection Control issues
and findings.
10. Abides by all safety/risk, infection control, and other guidelines as required.
11. Assists in ensuring State and Federal regulations and standards are met and maintained.
12. Being sensitive to Cultural Issues of a patient based on their job position.
13. Reporting Suicidality/Homicide of a patient based to their job position.
14. Ability of competency and understanding to Addiction based on their job position.
15. Reporting and responding to issues of Trauma of a patient based on their job position.
16. Reporting and responding to issues of Dual – Diagnosis issues of a patient based on their job position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
