About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to join our team at Behavioral Hospital-New Orleans Westbank location. As an RN in our hospital, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient. Your role will be critical in helping our patients achieve their treatment goals and improve their overall quality of life. We provide $10,000 retention bonus or newly hired FT RNs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Louisiana
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Atleast 2 years experience working in a behavioral health setting
- Certification in psychiatric nursing
- ACLS certification
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring patients' physical and emotional well-being
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Documenting patient progress and communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times
