Position Overview
Aventurine Wellness seeks a compassionate and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner to provide holistic, client-centered care to our patients. In this role, you will offer both traditional and holistic healthcare, supporting clients in their journey through addiction recovery and mental health. This position involves direct care, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance overall wellness and support physical and mental health.
This position is both in-person and telehealth. In-person may be at Thousand Oaks, Encino, West Hollywood, and Ventura. May transition to all or most tele-health.

Primary Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care
- Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to support individualized treatment plans.
- Administer injections, such as immunotherapy, and monitor patient responses, maintaining a high standard of safety and care.
- Manage patient health concerns holistically, providing insight into lifestyle practices (nutrition, exercise, and meditation) aligned with the company’s mission.
- Conduct re-evaluations every 30 days for ongoing treatment clients, assessing progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
Education and Counseling
- Provide preventative wellness counseling, educating clients on the Five Pillars of Health: breath, movement, nutrition, meditation, and service.
- Offer compassionate support and motivation, particularly for clients undergoing addiction recovery or mental health support.
- Address common questions and provide guidance on additional support options, including allergy testing, BrainCheck assessments, and mental health resources.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Coordinate care with the clinic’s holistic wellness team to optimize client outcomes and ensure seamless transitions across services.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, patient coordinators, and other team members to ensure that each client receives comprehensive, coordinated care.
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with all documentation standards.
- Collaborate with the billing team to ensure services are documented accurately for billing purposes.
- Provide weekly reports to the Operations Manager on client progress, service completion, and any immediate concerns.
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or mental health setting, with a preference for addiction recovery or holistic care environments.
- Knowledge of preventative wellness practices, including meditation, nutrition, and physical fitness.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and experience with patient tracking software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide compassionate, client-centered care.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $78.00 - $82.00 per hour
