Responsibilities:
Assess, monitor, and document patient symptoms and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
Assist with emergency procedures and interventions
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and their families on healthcare management and preventive measures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Provide leadership to nursing personnel and make daily rounds of your unit to ensure staff is providing direct care in accordance with resident’s care plan and wishes.
Develop and maintain rapport with nursing staff, other department personnel, residents, family members, and all other individuals involved in resident’s care.
Qualifications:
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
Must have active WA state License Practical Nurse license!
