Flexible Scheduling:
- Shifts: Both day and night shifts are available. Pick the shifts that best fit your availability!
- Start Date: Flexible start dates based on your preferred timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record a patient’s medical history.
- Measure and record blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and other vital signs.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side effects of medications.
- Monitor patients’ condition, including fluid intake and output, and document in patient charts.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as eating and bathing.
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, and assist with wound care and other basic medical tasks.
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
- Communicate with patients’ families to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an LPN, preferably in a home healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Valid LPN License in your designated state of work.
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and able to handle stress calmly and effectively.
Training and Support:
- Training will be provided by the nurse handling the cases to ensure you are well-prepared and supported in your role.
