Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Northern Virginia, has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced medical assistant or licensed practical nurse to support a busy family medicine practice in Purcellville, VA.
General Medical Assistant responsibilities include:
- Assisting with physical exams
- Obtaining medical and medication history
- Assisting Physician with clinical procedures
- Obtaining patient vital signs
- Performing phlebotomy as needed
- Assisting physician with general patient care and medical coding
- Cleaning and stocking exam rooms
- Assisting at the front desk
- Scheduling appointments; placing reminder calls
Medical Assistant/LPN Job Requirements:
- LPN/medical assistant school/training
- 1 year experience as medical assistant/LPN
- Previous experience in a physician office setting preferred
- Previous experience in phlebotomy and injections preferred
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills
- EMR experience preferred (Pulse and/or ECW)
- Professional demeanor
- Bi-lingual not required but a plus
