Voyage Healing is a young start-up ketamine and wellness clinic committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our patients. Our team of professionals works collaboratively to support individuals in achieving optimal mental well-being. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis with a split fee arrangement. This can be a great part-time gig to set your own hours, be part of an amazing community, and grow your practice in this exciting , cutting edge field.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with at least 2 years of experience to provide high-quality psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medication management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping individuals manage their mental health. Experience with ketamine or psychedelic assisted therapy a plus. Preferred familiarity with harm reduction priniciples. We are hoping the job will grow into a full time position.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for medication management, including assessments for ketamine.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
Opportunity to provide occasional psychotherapy, ketamine assisted psychotherapy and counseling as needed.
Opportunities to assist with ketamine experiential groups
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Stay current with developments in psychiatric care and treatment methodologies, especially those related to psychedelic medicine and ketamine.
Be open to providing telehealth.
Prescribing ketamine for therapist's patients who are doing ketamine assisted psychotherapy

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry.

Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health care and adult medication management

Valid state nursing license and certification to practice.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
