## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.

## Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia under the dentist's supervision
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software
- Assist dentists during procedures as needed
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations

## Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
- Proficiency in pediatric dentistry, general dentistry, and dental terminology
- Knowledge of medical documentation, medical records, and vital signs
- Experience working in a dental office setting
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software
- Strong understanding of infection control practices
