Work from the comfort of your home! Part-time positions available M-F (flexible); Day Hours 16 – 28 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

Answering calls related to medical services to determine if prior authorization is required for the requested services.
Documentation of calls into the computer system.
Perform telephonic clinical assessments.
Rendering initial determinations of medical appropriateness for communication to the health benefit plan.
Communicating medical review outcomes to medical professionals and members when required.

Required:

Active, unrestricted LPN license

Must have the following minimum internet speeds in order to connect to our systems: 25Mbps Download; 25Mbps Upload

Education and Experience:

1+ years’ experience within a primary care setting or similar specialty.
Prior use of electronic health records and other health care information systems desirable.

Abilities/Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and pivot with organizational needs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Work independently and as a team
