Empower Sleep provides sleep care online using continuous sleep vitals to unlock optimal health. Sleep is the foundation of our health - and we’re on a mission to make good-quality sleep accessible to everyone. With a strong focus on outcomes and integrative medicine, our platform aims to ensure health and wellness improvements for every member. Our vertically-integrated platform supports members through the full care journey, from in-home sleep testing and digital diagnosis with sleep physicians to treatment delivery and ongoing care.

Empower Sleep provides world-class sleep care without the hassle of the traditional healthcare systems (which can take > 3 months).

We’re founded by a team of world-class sleep physicians, engineers, and operators. Now, we are growing our care team and looking for a board-certified Sleep Medicine physician to deliver a magical healthcare experience.

About the role

You’ll be joining super early, so you’ll be working alongside our founder Dr. Sahil Chopra, MD. You’ll develop and scale patient care delivery, helping in all aspects of patient care including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations. In addition to care delivery, we’re counting on you to maintain an exciting culture.

What you’ll do

Perform consultations and downstream care for patients who have obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia
Order and understand diagnostic tests and tools for our members, including home sleep tests for patients
Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for sleep apnea and insomnia
Educate members about sleep health and ensure ongoing care
Collaborate with the founding team to ideate, plan, organize and execute protocols that improve member outcomes
Encourage yourself & others to get good sleep and live a healthy & happy life :)

You’re a great fit if you have

Passion towards helping humans live a healthier life
Medical licenses across multiple U.S. states
3+ years of experience working as a nurse practitioner. If you’re not familiar with sleep medicine, no worries - you’ll be in good hands. We have a training curriculum built out, just for you.
Experience with telehealth/telemedicine consults
Love technology and have worked at an early-stage healthcare startup
Comfort working in a rapidly-evolving specialty

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
