For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!

Desired Registered Nurse will have phone triage experience in a high volume call setting. Knowledge of my chart (not required) and live in the state of Maine or New Hampshire. This is a clinical call setting open Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. Option to be REMOTE after in-person training (roughly 1 month). Weekends and major holidays are not required to work.

Position Summary

Position serves as the primary point of contact for patients calling with clinical matters, and practices nursing via the telephone using the nursing process and physician approved protocols.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Completion of RN degree from accredited school of nursing.
License/Certifications: Active unencumbered State of Maine RN license or eligible for licensure. Current BLS certification.
Experience: Minimum two years' experience working in a medical facility.
Knowledge of telephone-based clinical assessment techniques.
Knowledge of medical practice telephone triage protocols.
Skill in making decisions and responding quickly and calmly.
Proficient computer skills with skill in using electronic medical records.
Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques.
Excellent professional judgment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
