Position Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our exceptional nursing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in nursing management with experience in long term care, a strong commitment to quality care, and a proactive approach to leadership. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and compliance with regulations.
Lead and support our nursing team, including training, mentorship, and performance evaluations, to maintain a positive, collaborative environment.
Collaborate with our tenured nurse management team to maintain an agency-free workforce and enhance resident satisfaction.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Actively engage with residents, families, and staff to ensure open communication and foster a welcoming environment.
Stay current with best practices, regulatory requirements, and nursing standards to maintain the highest quality of care.

Qualifications:

Current RN license in North Carolina.
Minimum of 3 years of nursing management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team in a positive and productive manner.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to quality, compassion, and integrity in resident care.
