We are seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care at our skilled nursing facility. As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence and empathy.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all nursing staff and coordinate care delivery to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards.
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
Provide mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff to encourage professional growth.
Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage while promoting work-life balance.
Conduct audits, quality assurance reviews, and implement improvements as needed.
Act as a liaison between families, residents, and healthcare providers to address concerns and enhance satisfaction.

Qualifications for Director of Nursing (DON):

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
In-depth knowledge of legal policies and regulations in the healthcare industry
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
