We are seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care at our skilled nursing facility. As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence and empathy.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all nursing staff and coordinate care delivery to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
- Provide mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff to encourage professional growth.
- Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage while promoting work-life balance.
- Conduct audits, quality assurance reviews, and implement improvements as needed.
- Act as a liaison between families, residents, and healthcare providers to address concerns and enhance satisfaction.
Qualifications for Director of Nursing (DON):
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- In-depth knowledge of legal policies and regulations in the healthcare industry
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
