Key Responsibilities

Case Management and Quality Assurance:

Oversee the development of individualized care plans for clients based on their specific needs.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients to evaluate the effectiveness of care plans.
Supervise, monitor, and evaluate care services to ensure quality care delivery.
Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Conduct impromptu supervisory visits to ensure high quality of care.
Document and report of all nursing activities, including incident reports and care plans.
Collaborate with families and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and address patient concerns.
Serve as a resource for care staff to address complex patient care issues.

Staff Management and Training:

Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff, including RNs and CNAs.
Develop and maintain training program for all RNs and CNAs.
Provide ongoing education and in-service training to ensure staff maintain required certifications and competencies.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action as necessary.
Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and accountability among clinical staff.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Monitor infection control practices and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and ensure staff are trained accordingly.

Administrative and Leadership Duties:

Participate in strategic planning and decision-making for the agency.
Represent the agency in professional and community settings to promote services and build relationships.

Job Requirements

Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Must have a high emotional intelligence; the ability to understand and get along well with people from various backgrounds.
The position requires local travel.

Required education: Bachelor's
Required Experience: Nursing - 5 years, Supervisory – 2 years
Required license or certification: RN in DC or Maryland

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
