Key Responsibilities
Case Management and Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the development of individualized care plans for clients based on their specific needs.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients to evaluate the effectiveness of care plans.
- Supervise, monitor, and evaluate care services to ensure quality care delivery.
- Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct impromptu supervisory visits to ensure high quality of care.
- Document and report of all nursing activities, including incident reports and care plans.
- Collaborate with families and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and address patient concerns.
- Serve as a resource for care staff to address complex patient care issues.
Staff Management and Training:
- Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff, including RNs and CNAs.
- Develop and maintain training program for all RNs and CNAs.
- Provide ongoing education and in-service training to ensure staff maintain required certifications and competencies.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action as necessary.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and accountability among clinical staff.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Monitor infection control practices and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and ensure staff are trained accordingly.
Administrative and Leadership Duties:
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making for the agency.
- Represent the agency in professional and community settings to promote services and build relationships.
Job Requirements
- Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Must have a high emotional intelligence; the ability to understand and get along well with people from various backgrounds.
- The position requires local travel.

- Required education: Bachelor's
- Required Experience: Nursing - 5 years, Supervisory – 2 years
- Required license or certification: RN in DC or Maryland
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
