Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to students with health-related issues, including injuries, illnesses, and ongoing medical conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
Maintain health records for students, ensuring they are up-to-date and confidential.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to accommodate students' health needs and ensure their safety.
Provide health education to students and staff on various health topics.
Respond to emergency situations as necessary, providing first aid and emergency care as needed.
Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment for students.

Qualifications:

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in Virginia required.
Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care is preferred.
Strong understanding of health assessments, treatments, and emergency procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a school setting, collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents.
Compassionate, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
