Overview
We seek a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in their home setting, office, AirBB or occasionally Yacht settings. This is a 24/7 live in position for detox patients (4-7 days) You MUST have addiction medical detox and or psychiatric nurse care experience. Must travel, compact license preferred. We are in Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Colorado, California, and Florida
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff or physicians.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records systems
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and follow-up care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff in the healthcare facility.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of outpatient care practices and procedures.
- CPR and AED certified
- MUST have a strong medical detox background and addiction/mental health training
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
