Job Overview
Join our rapidly expanding team at Compass Health as a Nurse RN/LPN in our Outpatient Medication Clinic. We are committed to enhancing the lives of our clients and are currently offering a competitive sign-on bonus of $3,000, contingent upon hours worked. This role is PRN (as needed) and requires providing nursing coverage during clinic hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the operations of the Medication Clinic.
- Prepare for scheduling adjustments and provide nursing coverage across various clinics as necessary.
- Educate clients by reviewing medication information sheets.
- Serve as a Case Manager for clients requiring medication refills.
- Complete essential paperwork for medication clinic and psychiatric evaluations in client records.
- Administer intramuscular medications and manage sample medication distribution while maintaining precise logs.
- Assist in the completion of prior authorizations for medications.
- Keep an updated list of injections, coordinate orders and deliveries, and manage discussions regarding potential side effects.
- Conduct vital sign assessments and facilitate pre-diabetes screenings.
- Utilize advanced computer skills to support clinical operations.

Qualifications
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- A valid GPN, LPN, GN, or RN license is necessary, along with passing the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.
